Diwali 2026 Jewellery: What to Wear and Gift, With Prices

Reema Savla

For Diwali 2026, which falls on 8 November, the easiest jewellery to wear is one bright statement piece: a pair of Kundan or Meenakari jhumkas, or a cocktail ring, with an outfit that already carries colour. For gifting, rings and earrings are the simplest choices because there is no size to guess. This guide lists what is in stock today in Sirini's Diwali collection, with prices, and how early to order.

What to wear for Diwali

Diwali evenings are lamp-lit and photographed, so jewellery that catches the light does most of the work. Pick one focus: earrings with a plain neckline, or a ring with a heavily embroidered outfit. Our festive jewellery edit covers the wider season, and the colour guide helps you match stones to your outfit.

Gifting jewellery for Diwali

Rings and earrings are the easiest to gift, because they do not depend on a neck or wrist size. The jewellery under Rs 3,000 collection has more than 140 pieces in stock, including finger rings, maang tikka, necklace sets and earrings, and our guide to Kundan jewellery under Rs 3,000 shows what each piece type costs. Our jewellery gifting guide goes into what to choose for whom, and for a sister see the Bhai Dooj 2026 gift ideas (Bhai Dooj is on 10 November). For a lighter, everyday gift, see the daily wear collection.

Dhanteras and Diwali: what imitation jewellery is and is not

All of Sirini's jewellery is gold-plated imitation jewellery over a brass or copper base. It is for wearing and gifting. It is not real gold or silver, so it is not a Dhanteras metal purchase or an investment, and it does not carry a resale value like gold. If you want pieces that look like traditional Kundan for the festival at a fraction of the weight and cost, that is what these are. Dhanteras 2026 is on Friday, 6 November; see Dhanteras 2026: can you buy imitation jewellery, what to wear and when to order.

When to order

Orders are packed in 1 to 2 business days and usually arrive in 5 to 7 business days within India, so order about two weeks before Diwali, by around 25 October, to be safe. Shipping is a flat Rs 150 across India, with Cash on Delivery on eligible orders.

Looking after your Diwali jewellery

Put jewellery on after make-up, perfume and any oil from lamps or sweets, and wipe each piece with a soft dry cloth after the evening. Store pieces separately in a pouch. The care guide for imitation jewellery has the full routine.
