Festive Ruby Kundan Payal

The Festive Ruby Kundan Payal is a pair of anklets running ruby-red Kundan stones down a fine double chain, kept light enough to wear through a whole evening of dancing.

It is made by hand at Sirini's own workshop in Santacruz West, Mumbai, where every stone is set over foil in the Kundan way so it sits flat and mirror-bright.

How to wear it

Payal sit over bare feet or thin sandal straps, never inside closed shoes. Let the red stand out against a green or gold outfit and repeat it in a ruby necklace set, keeping your bangles quieter so the anklets lead at floor level.

Care

Keep the pair away from water, perfume and sweat — moisture behind the Kundan foil dulls the stones for good. Put them on last, take them off first, and store them flat so the chains do not knot. Plating and polish are covered by a 1-year warranty.
