Golden Bloom Kalira

The Golden Bloom Kalira is a domed kalira topped with layered gold flowers and clear Kundan stones, with cascading petal-shaped tassels that swing from the wrist.

It is made by hand at Sirini's own workshop in Santacruz West, Mumbai, where every stone is set over foil in the Kundan way so it sits flat and mirror-bright.

How to wear it

Tie them onto your chooda at the chooda ceremony, one to each wrist or both on the dominant hand. They are meant to be seen from above as friends lift them over your head, so keep sleeves clear of the wrist.

Care

Keep away from water, perfume and sweat — moisture that gets behind the Kundan foil dulls it permanently. Tie and untie them by the cord loops rather than pulling on the domes, wipe with a dry soft cloth, and store the pair hanging or flat. Plating and polish are covered by a 1-year warranty.
