Lustrous Necklace Set

The Lustrous Necklace Set is a pearl-forward necklace and earrings from Sirini Jewellery — rows of imitation pearls carrying a stone-set centrepiece, with a soft rather than a hard sparkle.

Made by hand at Sirini's own workshop in Santacruz West, Mumbai, where the pearl rows are strung and knotted by hand so they drape rather than stand off the neck.

How to wear it

Pearls soften a heavy outfit and lift a plain one. Wear this over a pastel saree or a net lehenga, keep the maang tikka small, and let the pearl rows do the layering rather than adding a second chain.

Care

Keep it away from water, perfume and sweat — perfume in particular pits imitation pearls over the years. Put it on last and take it off first, wipe with a dry soft cloth, and lay it flat so the strands hold their shape. Plating and polish are covered by a 1-year warranty.
