Pearl Grace Kundan Kalira

The Pearl Grace Kundan Kalira is a bridal kalira from Sirini Jewellery — a dome-topped ornament hung with pearl and Kundan drops that clips onto the bangle and dangles from the wrist, worn by the bride and often her sisters.

Handcrafted at Sirini's own workshop in Santacruz West, Mumbai — the dome is stone-set by hand and every drop is strung and balanced so the kalira hangs evenly.

How to wear it

A kalira hangs from the chooda or a kada and swings as you move — keep the rest of the wrist simple so it has room. Traditionally the bride shakes the kaliras over unmarried friends at the mehendi.

Care

Keep it away from water, perfume and sweat — perfume pits imitation pearls and moisture dulls the foil behind the stones; the wrist also takes knocks, so remove it before anything strenuous. Wipe with a dry soft cloth and store each piece apart. Plating and polish are covered by a 1-year warranty.
