The Pearl Line With Kundan Stone Ear Chain is a supported earring: a Kundan stud sits on the lobe, and a fine line of hand-strung pearls arcs from the earring up to a hook that tucks into the hair, so the weight is shared rather than pulling on the ear.

Handcrafted at Sirini's workshop in Santacruz West, Mumbai. The stud stone is foil-set in the Kundan technique; the pearl line is knotted and strung by hand to the right length.

How to wear it

Because the ear chain already fills the space beside the face, pair it with a close-fitting choker rather than a long haar. Wear your hair up or half-up so the hook has something to grip.

Care

Pearls are the most fragile part — perfume and sweat break down the coating, so this piece goes on last of all, after hair and make-up. Wipe the pearls with a dry cloth only and store the chain flat so it does not tangle. Plating and polish carry a 1-year warranty.
