Puja Kundan Chandbali Earrings

The Puja Kundan Chandbali Earrings take the classic half-moon chandbali shape — a broad crescent of Kundan work with a row of tiny gold or pearl drops along the lower rim that shiver when you move.

Made by hand at Sirini's workshop in Santacruz West, Mumbai. The crescent is built up in layered Kundan on a shaped frame, and the drops are linked on individually so the fringe moves as one line.

How to wear it

Chandbalis want height above them, not width — wear them with a fitted choker rather than a long haar, and add a maang tikka if your hair is parted centre. Tuck hair behind the ear so the crescent sits flat.

Care

Keep it away from water, perfume and sweat, put it on last and take it off first, and wipe it with a dry soft cloth before storing it apart from your other pieces. The hanging drops knock against each other in a pouch, so lay the pair flat with tissue between them. Plating and polish are covered by a 1-year warranty.
