Rajasthani and Mughal Bridal Nath

The Rajasthani and Mughal Bridal Nath is a large hooped nose ring from Sirini Jewellery, densely stone-set, with a fine chain that loops from the ring up to a hair pin to carry its weight.

Handcrafted at Sirini's own workshop in Santacruz West, Mumbai — each stone is hand-set in the Kundan technique with foil worked in behind it.

How to wear it

A big nath sits against the left cheek and the support chain pins into the hair above the ear — do that first, then check it hangs level in a mirror. Wear it with a choker and keep the maang tikka small so the two do not fight.

Care

Keep it away from water, perfume and sweat — moisture that gets behind the Kundan foil dulls the stones permanently. Put it on last and take it off first, wipe with a dry soft cloth, and store it in a pouch away from other pieces. Plating and polish are covered by a 1-year warranty.
