The Ruby Dewdrop Maang Tikka in Antique Finish is a maang tikka from Sirini Jewellery where ruby-red Kundan stones sit over a darkened, antique-gold base rather than a bright polish. It hangs on a chain along the hair parting, with a hook that anchors into the hair and a pendant that rests on the forehead.

Handcrafted in Sirini's own Mumbai workshop — the ruby stones are hand-set in the Kundan technique, with foil worked in behind each one and the antique finish darkened by hand for an older, heirloom look.

How to wear it

Hook it into the hair at the crown so the pendant sits centred on the parting, just above the browline. Pair with a choker or a necklace set in the same stone colour; add a passa at the side for a fuller bridal look.

Care

Keep away from water, perfume and sweat — moisture can get behind the Kundan foil and dull it permanently. Take it off before washing your face or removing makeup, since the pendant sits right at the hairline where cleansers reach it easily. Store it flat in its own pouch.
