Ruby Elegance Kundan Hathphool

The Ruby Elegance Kundan Hathphool is set with ruby-red Kundan stones in a simple, understated motif. A hathphool covers the back of the hand — a central motif linked by chains to rings on the fingers and a bracelet at the wrist, worn on the mehendi hand.

Handcrafted in Sirini's own Mumbai workshop — the stones are hand-set in the Kundan technique, with foil worked in behind each one.

How to wear it

Wear it on your dominant hand so it shows in photographs and while you gesture. Match it to your bangles and a ring on the other hand; keep the wrist otherwise clear so the chains sit flat.

Care

Keep away from water, perfume and sweat — moisture can get behind the Kundan foil and dull it permanently. The finger loops need gentle handling — ease each one off rather than pulling, so the chains linking to the motif don't stretch or tangle. Store it flat in its pouch, away from other jewellery.
