The 22K Gold-Plated Ruby Polki Passa is a passa (jhoomar): a fanned ornament of ruby-red stones that hooks into the hair above one ear and hangs past the temple, one of the older pieces in North Indian and Hyderabadi bridal dressing.
Made by hand at Sirini’s Santacruz West workshop in Mumbai; each stone is foil-set one at a time.
