Pin it above the ear on the side the hair is parted towards, with a small maang tikka on the parting. Keep the earring on that side modest so the face is not crowded.

The darkened antique-gold finish on this green passa is worn down fastest by water, perfume and sweat, so put it on last and take it off first. Wipe it only with a dry soft cloth, and handle the fanned tips gently since they catch on hair and fabric; store it flat in its own pouch.
