Sirini Bridal Kundan Waist Chain

The Sirini Bridal Kundan Waist Chain (kamarband) is a stone-set belt from Sirini Jewellery worn over a saree or lehenga at the waist, with a central motif and a draped chain that follows the hip.

Handcrafted at Sirini's own workshop in Santacruz West, Mumbai — the motif is stone-set by hand and the chain is assembled so it drapes rather than sits stiff.

How to wear it

A kamarband defines the waist of a saree and holds the pallu in place. Sit the central motif slightly to one side of the navel, not dead centre, and match the stone tone to the bridal necklace set and maang tikka.

Care

Keep it away from water, perfume and sweat — moisture that gets behind the Kundan foil dulls the stones permanently. Put it on last and take it off first, wipe with a dry soft cloth, and store it in a pouch away from other pieces. Plating and polish are covered by a 1-year warranty.
