Sirini Royal Peacock Polki Kalgi

The Sirini Royal Peacock Polki Kalgi is a plume-shaped hair brooch in gold-toned Kundan stones that stands upright from the hair, echoing the feather-shaped kalgi of Mughal turbans.

Handcrafted in Sirini’s own workshop in Santacruz West, Mumbai — every stone is hand-set over a reflective foil in the Kundan technique.

How to wear it

Pin it upright into a bun or a braid so the plume stands. Keep to one hair ornament — the kalgi or a maang tikka, not both large.

Care

Keep it away from water, perfume and sweat — put the piece on last, take it off first, and wipe it only with a dry soft cloth. The upright shape bends under weight — store it on top of other pieces, not beneath. Store it flat in its own pouch. Plating and polish are covered by a 1-year warranty.
