Stylish Minimal Design Maangtikka

The Stylish Minimal Design Maangtikka is a maang tikka from Sirini Jewellery pared back to a small, single-stone pendant rather than a full floral or dewdrop cluster. It hangs on a chain along the hair parting, with a hook that anchors into the hair and a pendant that rests on the forehead.

Handcrafted in Sirini's own Mumbai workshop — the single stone is hand-set in the Kundan technique, with foil worked in behind it to keep the piece light for everyday festive wear.

How to wear it

Hook it into the hair at the crown so the pendant sits centred on the parting, just above the browline. Pair with a choker or a necklace set in the same stone colour; add a passa at the side for a fuller bridal look.

Care

The single stone on this minimal tikka sits over foil, so keep it away from water, perfume and sweat. Put it on last, take it off first and wipe the stone and pendant with a dry soft cloth. Store it in a pouch, apart from other pieces, with the chain coiled and the hook closed.
