Traditional Kemp Stone Kaanchain

The Traditional Kemp Stone Kaanchain is a South-Indian-style ear chain from Sirini Jewellery, set with red and green kemp-look stones on a gold line from the earring to the hair.

Handcrafted at Sirini's own workshop in Santacruz West, Mumbai — the kemp-style stones are set by hand and the chain is finished to sit against the temple.

• Materials: 18–22K gold plating over a brass base, with red and green kemp-look glass stones — fashion and imitation jewellery, not solid gold, diamonds, or precious stones

How to wear it

Kemp belongs with temple jewellery, not bright Kundan — pair it with a temple necklace and temple jhumkis, and keep every piece in the same antique gold tone. Hair up.

Care

Keep it away from water, perfume and sweat — moisture that gets behind the Kundan foil dulls the stones permanently. Put it on last and take it off first, wipe with a dry soft cloth, and store the pair flat and separate from other pieces. Plating and polish are covered by a 1-year warranty.
