Traditional Ruby Kundan Payal

The Traditional Ruby Kundan Payal is a pair of anklets with ruby-red Kundan stones along the chain and a soft row of ghungroo bells at the edge, so they chime a little as you walk.

Handcrafted in Sirini's own workshop in Santacruz West, Mumbai. The red stones are hand-set over foil in the Kundan technique and the bells are attached by hand.

How to wear it

Anklets are worn over bare feet or thin straps, not inside closed shoes. Match the red stones to your necklace set; if you are also wearing bangles, keep those lighter so the sound of the payal comes through.

Care

The bells tarnish fastest where they rub — wipe the payal with a dry cloth after each wear, keep it away from water and perfume, and store the pair flat so the chains do not knot. Plating and polish carry a 1-year warranty.
