White Meenakari Polki Sheesh Patti

The White Meenakari Polki Sheesh Patti runs along the centre parting from the forehead into the hair — a jewelled band set with clear stones and pearls that frames the face from above, worn with or instead of a maang tikka.

Made by hand at Sirini’s Santacruz West workshop in Mumbai; each stone is foil-set one at a time.

How to wear it

Part the hair cleanly down the centre and hook the ends into the hair on each side. It replaces the maang tikka — add small jhumkis and a close choker.

Care

Keep it away from water, perfume and sweat — put the piece on last, take it off first, and wipe it only with a dry soft cloth. The forehead pendant scratches if it rubs — pouch it separately. Store it flat in its own pouch. Plating and polish are covered by a 1-year warranty.
